DESCRIPTION:A new Practice/Study group will begin in March 19\, 2024.  Scheduled for Tuesday afternoons from 1 –  3\, the text for study will be “Satipatthana Meditation – A Practice Guide” by Bhikku.  From the Buddhist meditator and scholar\, Bhikkhu Analayo\, this is a thorough-going guide to the early Buddhist teachings on Satipatthana\, the foundations of mindfulness\, following on from his two best-selling books\, Satipatthana: The Direct Path to Realization and Perspectives on Satipatthana. With mindfulness being so widely taught\, there is a need for a clear-sighted and experience-based guide. Analayo provides it. \nParticipants will need their own copy of the book\, currently available from amazon.com.mx.  Click this link to check availability and price. \nThe group will be facilitated by sangha member\, Walter Wesley and is suitable for all levels of experience.  Practice/Study groups are dana-based.  There is no fee to participate.  Group members offer voluntary contributions in support of Heart of Awareness. \n
